Today I took a look at our books on the iPad and snagged some screenshots of what our books looked like. As you can see from the full color page iPad screenshots detailed below, tables and text come out fine. The backgrounds do seem to act a little funny at times, but every one of our books includes a Black and White version without backgrounds.
TLDR: The iPad displays all of Morbidgames Publishing’s books just fine.
Note: these were taken from the following books/pages
Lore Forgotten Mythos pages: 4, 33

Update FAQ:
- Q: Why didn’t you show screenshots of more books?
A: Because there wasn’t a need too. The issue with iPads and most eBook readers is that they have trouble displaying complex tables, such as the ones found in Role Playing Game books like Ave Molech. These tables are graphics are created in InDesign and there is currently no good conversion for PDF to ePub or HTML format. - Q: But I’ve seen converters.
A: Yes, there are converters out there. In short, they suck when it comes to pages that have multiple tables and graphics and text all formatted differently. - Q: Will you ever make a full ePub or HTML version of your books?
A: I’d like to, but unfortunately I’m just one guy these days and don’t have the time to redo all my books in a format that isn’t necessary for the majority of people who read PDF books. Also, it’s more convenient for those of our users who print out our files for use with their players.
I’m trying to hit 1,000 copies sold at RPGNow/DTRPG – Only need 300 more
Of course if you want to buy it from other places, that’s cool too, but it’d be awesome if I could break 1,000 at one of these…
Congrats to Gloria! You can read more about the contest here
I wasn’t sure if this was the same Gloria Weber who wrote Gaslight Demons (which I’ve been hearing a lot about since it was released a few months back), but it turns out she is! Awesome!
Over the last year I’ve been in significant battles with spam on my forums, so much so that I’ve purged them three times this year. I always make sure I have the latest version of SMF installed, I have the email confirmation turned on and the Captcha feature turned on.
Unfortunately people were still posting a ton of crap on there and so I have now made it so I have to approve members, which is basically my way of NOT approving anyone who signs up. I’ll more than likely remove the forums completely if I can’t find a better fix in the near future, so for now just email me or post a comment on the blog if you have a question.
The world of Ave Molech is a lore heavy world setting with goblin technicians, magic wielding tiefling, airships, dead gods and people with a metal look. While the setting was created with d20 modern stats and classes, you’ll see many races from 3.5 that have been modified (ps: tiefling were charismatic here years before 4th edition). However, with any lore heavy game, there is enough content that you could plug any town, idea or theme into your own current setting.
Perhaps you’re not ready to sink into an entire new setting, Journals provide short, flash-fiction, stories that take place within the world of Ave Molech, but are created for GMs with the intension of incorporating them into your current game.
Don’t have a game going on, or looking for some new inspiration for your adventures, Lore may be just the thing for you. Lore are books designed to expand on the stories and people within the world of Ave Molech. While they do not add any additional mechanics to the game, they provide a lot of useful information for those looking to create settings of their own.
Not yet sold on the world of Ave Molech? Then curl up with a good book by the fire and read of a mystery involving magic wielding officers, half-demons and betrayal in Gloria Weber’s Gaslight Demons.
